I have used several tree trimming companies in Santa Barbara and Beaver Tree always comes out on top. Autumn and his crew offer the most professional service and the price is great.

Reasonable and professional tree service. Excellent results. Planning and trimming were carefully and thoroughly completed to all specifications. Autumn and his crew were great listeners and respectful at all times. Will use them again this winter.

Had Autumn and his crew out to day-light and clean up our pepper trees and an olive tree. He was able to come out and give me a bid the same day and scheduled the service within a week. The crew was here on time, did an amazing job on our trees, and when they left there wasn't a leaf on the ground. Our olive tree is a focal point in our front yard, and it has never been trimmed so beautifully. I would recommend Autumn and team to anyone. Their prices are very competitive. We had an excellent experience with them.

Great when you need tree work done.

We have a rather large hedge that hides the house across the street but still gives us a nice view from the Riviera... unless we let it get too high... then it's time for a trim. The first company we engaged was very expensive but came highly recommended and did an OK job. The second was *much* cheaper and we spend six months waiting for the hedge to grow back so it could be redone properly. Finally, on the recommendation of a neighbor, we called Keith at Giant Beaver Tree. His quote was on the low side and he explained that he wanted to get the job and do it twice a year for the next twenty years. Giant Beaver Tree has been taking care of that hedge and the rest of the large bushes and trees on our property for the past twenty-two years. They are prompt, neat, thorough and there's never been a surprise or a disappointment. I'm good with Keith and Giant Beaver Tree for another twenty-two years.

My parents have a gigantic Canary Island Date Palm in their back yard and asked me to find someone who could get it cleaned up and looking nice. I asked some neighbors and they recommended Giant Beaver. I spoke with the owner Keith and he was out the same day to give me a quote. He was very thorough in explaining what was needed to get the tree looking good. He left me a very detailed quote that I was able to give to my parents. After comparing his quote with several other companies in town, I gave him a call and set a time to have his crew come out and do the job. They showed up on time and got right to work. The crew of three had the job done and cleaned up by lunch. My parents couldn't believe how good the tree looked which I was happy about. It looked so good, the next day we had a note on our door from a landscaper asking if they could buy the tree! That was awesome. Thanks again Keith and crew!

Recently I received a 20% discount postcard in the mail for tree work from The Beaver Company. My husband and I had been waiting quite a long time on another tree service to get some work done on our property, so we decided to give The Beaver Company a go! I called the number on the postcard, and Keith (the owner) immediately answered the phone. We set a date for him to come by and give us an estimate, and he was right on time the following day! He was very pleasant, articulate and helpful. He gave us a very good bid, so we agreed to have Keith's team show up a week later to do the job. One week later four fellows showed up right on time...again! The foreman, Niam, was very articulate and kind. He went over the punch list with me as to what needed to be done, and then they all went straight to work! After the completion of each item on the punch list, Niam had me take a look at the work to make sure that everything was addressed in the manner that we had hoped. We were VERY pleased with their work, and we were also VERY pleased with the clean-up afterwards. Overall we would most certainly give The Beaver Company a SOLID 5 STARS for their (1) punctuality, (2) professionalism, (3) attention to detail, (4) workmanship, and (5) thorough clean-up afterwards. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KEITH AND HIS CREW! I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR THEIR SPEEDY AND DETAILED TREE AND HEDGE WORK AT HOUR HOME! On an additional note, shortly after our very positive encounter with The Beaver Company, we discovered wood boring beetles in some firewood that had been delivered to our home. The wood boring beetles (and the firewood) needed to be removed IMMEDIATELY from our property. We were already getting beetle boring holes in our hardwood floors in our LIVING ROOM and DINING ROOM!!! So the VERY FIRST PERSON that we called was Keith from The Beaver Company to advise us on what to do with the infested wood. We came up with a plan, agreed on a price, and Keith will soon be chipping the infested wood and hauling it away POST HASTE! We are VERY relieved to know that that infested wood will be gone within the next 2-3 days. Even though I know his schedule is VERY busy at the moment, he understood our sense of urgency, and agreed to make that infested wood disappear within 3 days! So grateful! On a closing note, I have read some of The Beaver Company's other reviews, and I must emphasis that we only have positive things to say about our experience with the company and their workmanship. I hope some will find this review helpful as we truly felt that it was our obligation to turn the tide on the feedback and comments here on Yelp. I hope you will give The Beaver Company a GO!

Had a Date Palm that was shedding fronds all over our road and into our yard. Big ugly, dirty, vermin infested eye sore! Autumn came out gave us an estimate, crew arrived on time, took down 50 foot tree, did traffic control on tight highly travel mountain road, and clean up left property immaculate. Also grinder out stump, perfect. Well done guys. This is second job Beaver has done for us, will continue using them and highly recommend them. Thanks guys this job was no walk in the park. Laura

Got very competitive bid from these guys to trim an old oak, remove a stump, and clean up some other trees on my property. The owner was pleasant and showed up on time for our meetings. The crew showed up early on the day they were supposed to be here. I regret that I have to mention this, but since some other reviewers are being unfair, they all spoke english and were very nice to myself and my wife! They did great, fast work. They're not perfect: they ended up having to borrow a few of my tools, which I thought was odd. But they took great care in shaping and pruning three smaller trees on my property, they now look great. The stump grinding was fast and amazing. Our huge 3.5' diameter massive stump is gone and we have nice soft mulch down to a foot below ground level in its place. Finally, they cleaned everything. Even some other brush and leaves that I had lying around from earlier work that I had done.
